The Central Virginia Boys Lacrosse Committee has agreed to play using the following format for boys lacrosse.

• 1st/2d Grade-Half Field, 7v7, full pads, full sized goals with Goal Stoppers, no goalies; games Saturday mornings, inter squad scrimmages /some out of house games
• 3rd/4th Grades-Shortened Field, 8v8, full pads, regular goals with goalies
• 5th/6th Grades-Full Field, 10v10, full pads, regular goals with goalies
• 7th/8th Grades-Full Field, 10v10, full pads, regular goals with goalies

***CYL and some other programs will not allow long poles for boys 1st-4th grades***

Fall Format

1 practice a week and games on Saturdays, mostly home games against CYL teams, end of season tournament

Spring Format

2 practices a week, games on Saturdays including away games, end of season tournament
