PRACTICES BEGIN: Week of February 27th, 2023

PRACTICE LOCATION:

River City Sportsplex (13030 Genito Rd, Midlothian, VA 23112)

DATES & TIMES:

GIRLS K/1/2: Tuesdays + Thursdays, 6-7:15pm

GIRLS 3/4: Tuesdays + Thursdays, 6-7:15pm

GIRLS 5/6: Mondays + Wednesdays, 6-7:15pm

GIRLS 7/8: Mondays + Wednesdays, 7:15-8:30pm

BOYS 1/2 (NO Kindergarten): Tuesdays + Thursdays, 6-7:15p

BOYS 3/4: Tuesdays + Thursdays, 7:15-8:30p

BOYS 5/6: Mondays + Wednesdays, 6-7:15p

BOYS 7/8: Mondays + Wednesdays, 7:15-8:30p

GAME SCHEDULES:

Games will be played on 3/18, 3/25, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13 (tournament)

GAME LOCATIONS:

Home games are at Mary Stratton Park or Horner Park.

Away games are played agains Henrico, Hanover, and Powhatan.

EQUIPMENT:

Girls:

-Crosse (girls) stick

-Mouthguard

-Goggles

-Gloves (optional)

-Turf shoes or cleats (by preference)

Boys:

-Crosse (boys) stick

-Mouthguard

-Helmet

-Chest protector/shoulder pads (NOCSAE)

-Elbow pads

-Gloves

-Protective cup

-Turf shoes or cleats (by preference)

BOYS MIDDIE PROGRAM: A tryout-based program will be available this season for 6/7/8th grade players zoned for Cosby HS and Midlothian HS. Practice will be held during the 7/8 slot at River City and home games will be held on Tuesdays or Thursdays at River City from 7:15-8:30p. Away games may also be played at other locations. More info to come in early 2023. All players should continue to register here at cylax.org in the traditional rec program.
